LESSONS OF DARKNESS

Director: Werner Herzog 1992

A stunning Werner Herzog triumph, Lessons of Darkness is a truly symphonic observation of the impact of the Gulf War.

With expansive cinematography and set to a Wagnerian score, this film is in equal parts fascinating and  frightening as it depicts an Earth that is almost unrecognisable.

Stephen Fry is one of Britain’s best loved performers - a multi-talented actor, presenter, writer and a lifelong fan of the music of Richard Wagner.

Stephen makes a journey to explore his fascination for Wagner and confront Wagner’s troubled legacy.

Dates: November: Mon 18, 4pm; Wed 20, 2pm (89 Minutes)
