Ring Festival Backstage Tour


Arts Centre Melbourne's spire is a shining beacon for entertainment.


Buried deep beneath its twinkling lights is a myriad of backstage rooms and secret passageways unknown to most of its visitors.  

On this exclusive underground tour, developed to celebrate Wagner and the Melbourne Ring Cycle, we invite you to discover what lies beyond the walls of our theatres and learn how the magic of Wagner's masterpiece is brought to life with over 350 singers, dancers, musicians, and technicians.

Ring Cycle Tactile Tour


After the Insights talk on 8 December, we are running a free Tactile Tour for Ring ticket holders with vision impairments.

From 12.30 - 1pm, the tour will be led by an Opera Australia staff member who is closely involved in realising the production.

Tour members with limited vision will explore props and costumes, and if possible, get access to the set on stage.
